This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use FootPredict, why we process it, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and what your rights are. It applies to the FootPredict website and app and to the related services.

FootPredict is published from the Republic of Benin and available worldwide. The service is governed by Beninese law, without prejudice to the mandatory data protection rules of your country of residence.

FootPredict does not organise, offer or record any bets. The service is limited to statistical analyses and probabilities calculated for football matches. No prediction is betting advice or a guarantee of any result.

Account data — email address, name (optional), password (stored only in encrypted / hashed form, never in plain text), display preference (light/dark theme).

Subscription and billing — chosen plan (Free or PRO) and duration, history and status of your subscription, date and amount of payments.

Payment — when you pay, your phone number, name and email are sent to our payment provider (FedaPay in Benin, SasPay in Ivory Coast, Senegal and Cameroon) to initiate the transaction (Mobile Money / card). FootPredict does not store your bank card details or mobile wallet codes; this data is processed directly by these providers.

Use of the service — matches and predictions you view (in particular to apply the weekly limit of the Free plan), matches added to your favourites.

Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, timestamps and server logs, generated automatically to ensure the security, operation and troubleshooting of the service.

Browser local storage — we keep in your browser authentication tokens (to keep you logged in), small interface preferences (including your language), and a randomly generated anonymous identifier used only to measure site traffic (pages viewed, traffic sources) without identifying anyone. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers for marketing profiling.

• Creating and managing your account, providing analyses and predictions — performance of our contract.
• Managing subscriptions, collecting payments and issuing receipts — performance of the contract and compliance with our accounting and tax obligations.
• Ensuring security, preventing fraud and abuse, keeping the service available — legitimate interest.
• Measuring site traffic (pages viewed, traffic sources) in an aggregated and anonymous way, to understand and improve the service — legitimate interest.
• Sending you service-related messages (confirmations, important information about your account or subscription) — performance of the contract.
• Answering your requests and exercising or defending our rights — legitimate interest / legal obligation.

Your data is never sold or rented. It is accessible to authorised staff of MARX VISION PLUS and to a limited number of providers acting on our behalf and on our instructions:

• FedaPay (Benin) — online payment processing (Mobile Money, card).
• SasPay (Ivory Coast, Senegal, Cameroon) — online payment processing (Mobile Money, card).
• Contabo GmbH (Germany, European Union) — hosting of the server, the application and the database.
• Where applicable, a transactional email provider (account-related messages).

We may also disclose data where required by law, at the request of a competent authority, or to protect our rights and the safety of users.

Sports data (fixtures, results, team statistics) comes from public or open sources and contains no personal data about you. Prediction models are computed from this sports data, not from your personal activity.

• Account data: kept as long as your account is active. After the account is deleted, it is erased or anonymised within a reasonable time, unless the law requires it to be kept.
• Billing data: kept for as long as required by the accounting and tax obligations applicable in the Republic of Benin.
• Technical logs: kept for a limited period (generally up to 12 months), then deleted or aggregated.

We implement reasonable measures to protect your data: encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, system access restricted to authorised people, backups and the principle of least privilege. Since no system is infallible, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

In accordance with the personal data protection rules applicable in the Republic of Benin (in particular Law No. 2017-20 of 20 April 2018 on the Digital Code), you have the following rights over your data:

• Right of access and information,
• Right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete data,
• Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”),
• Right to object and right to restrict processing,
• Right to portability of the data you have provided to us,
• Right to withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on it.

To exercise these rights, write to us at mgangbala610@gmail.com stating your request. We may ask you for proof of identity and we aim to reply within one month.

If you believe that the processing of your data does not comply with the regulations, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Authority (APDP) of the Republic of Benin, after contacting us.

FootPredict is intended for an adult audience (18 and over). We do not knowingly collect data about minors. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us so that we can delete it.

As the app is available worldwide, your data may be accessed from, and processed in, several countries:

• Hosting — Germany (European Union), with Contabo GmbH, a region with a recognised data protection framework (GDPR).
• Payments — with FedaPay (Benin) and SasPay (West and Central Africa).
• Service administration — Benin (MARX VISION PLUS).

When data is transferred outside your country, we make sure that appropriate safeguards cover these transfers and that your data enjoys an adequate level of protection.

We may change this policy to reflect changes to the service or to the regulations. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page; in the event of a significant change, we will inform you by appropriate means.
